Jose Mercado is a ISA Certified Arborist # WE-1183-A, WCISA Certified Tree Worker WC-689-C, Altec Certified Aerial Lift Instructor, American Red Cross Certified Instructor and holds a valid CDL w/doubles & triples endorsement.
Jose has a passion for the care of trees and the training of arborists climbers that actually do the work. He performs all aspects of safety equipment training, climbing techniques, and FA/CPR/AED.
Over 38 years experience, former judge at WCISA tree worker exams, organized tree climbing competitions, Jose has conducted many arborist training symposiums for the WCISA and worked for a large landscape company for many years as a supervisor.
Jose is the Founder and Executive Director (past president) of the Hispanic Arborist Association, where safety, education and advancement of the Hispanic tree worker matters.
