Today, we will discuss key factors that should be considered when working on or with soil in landscapes. We will review some different options for mitigating soil and enhancing soil health for maintenance. These options will be very supportive to your programs for customers, landscapes & business. California should not feel that their landscape should look brown as result of drought conditions. Weather is heating up again and the rain only lasts so long in the soil.

Wister Dorta
Wister Dorta is Arborjet-Ecologel’s Western Regional Technical Manager. He initially moved to Santa Monica in 2014 to work on pressing tree quality, tree planting, tree preservation and drought issues. Wister has a diversified arboriculture background and enjoys sharing the fact that we can all learn from each other. In addition to a BS in Environmental and Forest Biology, Wister holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management. He is a Board Certified Master Arborist, Qualified Tree Risk Assessor, and fluent in Spanish.
