Seminar Description:
The seminar will review the water and labor-savings benefits of using EPA WaterSense weather-based and soil moisture-based smart irrigation controllers. Utilizing properly configured and programmed smart controllers can save as much as 50% of the water used by a standard clock-based irrigation controller. The seminar will review the collection of site irrigation requirements and the process of matching those requirements to smart irrigation controller features including automatic program adjustments, flow sensing, flow management, communication options, manual operations, logs, and reports. We will also discuss the importance of factoring in training requirements, reoccurring costs, distributor and manufacturer support, and warranty.
