Seminar Description:
Organic herbicides are increasingly sought as a replacement for conventional weed killers containing glyphosate. This seminar will help attendees understand organic and non-conventional herbicides for use in landscape situations, including considerations when switching to organic herbicides for cost, efficacy, and personal protective equipment.

Lindsey Hack
Hack is a community educator with the University of California Statewide Integrated Pest Management Program’s Urban and Community unit. She joined UC IPM in 2024 as an invasive species specialist and has since widened her scope to deliver education to the public about all kinds of pest management topics around homes, structures, landscapes, gardens, schools, and other public areas.
