Seminar Description:
Whether its water restrictions following drought conditions, new construction mandates such as MWELO, or State proposed ban on watering non-functional turf the way we maintain commercial landscapes is changing throughout California. In this presentation you will learn how to create a proper irrigation schedule for your landscape areas, including how often and how long to water for your specific sprinkler or drip irrigation system. You will learn the common mistakes that are found in drought tolerant landscapes and how to quickly identify, diagnose, and correct these issues. Leaving this workshop you will have the confidence to properly manage California’s new commercial landscape.

With more than 15 years of experience in landscaping, Brandon is an experienced contractor, educator, and water professional. He now serves as the Chino Basin Water Conservation District's Conservation Specialist I where he provides water management planning and professional education throughout CBWCD’s seven city service area. Brandon currently holds certifications with: ISA (certified arborist), Irrigation Association (landscape auditor), AWWA (Water Use Efficiency Practitioner Grade 1) and CLCA (WELDCP).
