Adam Carr

After spending 8 years in the Army and National Guard as a Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Warfare Specialist, as well as Military Police Officer, Adam Carr decided to shift his focus to his love of landscaping and horticulture. Adam started working for Brickman, one of the largest landscape companies in the US, while attending college. He worked full time as a crew leader while also tackling school full time, and he eventually graduated with a degree in Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture. This enabled him to appreciate every position in the industry and allowed him to have realistic expectations around quality and execution.

Over his nearly 10 years with Brickman, he fulfilled nearly every role possible, ranging from Crew Lead and Project Director to Account Manager, Sales, and Branch Manager, eventually earning his CLT Certification as well.

Adam accepted a position with Irvine Company in 2012 and has been managing all office projects in San Diego since that time. He was recently promoted to Senior Manager of Landscape Operations for Irvine Company. Adam has been instrumental in the Irvine Company winning many CLCA awards, as well as an International Lighting award. Helping build and maintain world class landscape projects has been something Adam has a great deal of passion for.

In his spare time, he loves managing his non-profit veteran outreach off-road racing team that helps combat PTSD and other service-related issues experienced by our nation's veterans. Traveling to Baja with his wife Stephanie is also a great joy and passion for Adam.
