Seminar Description:
This presentation will provide you with the basics to understand and identify pest insects and the damage they do. This presentation also introduces beneficial insects that provide services such as pollination, predation, and parasitism.
Learning Objectives:
1. Increased knowledge of both bad and good insects.
2. How to recognize types of insect damage.
3. How to recognize beneficial insects and know if they are controlling insect pests.
Susan Sims
Susan Sims is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, CA Urban Forester, and an ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. Susan and her husband Gary have owned Sims Tree Health Specialists, Inc., since 1972. They also have Sims Tree Learning Center, a small arboretum and educational center.
