Seminar Description:
This class discusses the four common failure modes found in field wiring with all Irrigation systems. Learn how to break the system down into three easy parts for troubleshooting by using your voltmeter. Understand what Ohm’s of resistance is and what it means with field wiring. Discuss common pitfalls with wire connections.

Craig Borland

Craig Borland, has worked for Toro Irrigation/Irritrol for 27 years. During that time, has managed the Controller Repair department, managed the Service Center Repair program, served as Warranty Administrator, been inside sales, and is currently Sr. Customer Resource Specialist. He also provides technical support for the Engineering, Legal, Technical Support, Marketing Departments, and Micro division.

Borland earned a B.S. degree in Fruit Science, with a Minor in Ornamental Horticulture from California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo. He has taught for the Irrigation Association for the past 21 years and serves on the I.A. Education Foundation Committee as a Subject Matter Expert.
