Seminar Description:
Robotic mowers present significant advantages for both landscapers and the landscapes they maintain. They provide a manicured environment requiring less manpower, fewer inputs, and less water, and are much quieter to operate. Designing landscapes to be robotic mower friendly is crucial for efficient and sustainable lawn maintenance. Integrating such designs not only streamlines the mowing process but also enhances the longevity and performance of robotic mowers. This session will address topics such as optimizing navigation, ensuring obstacle-free paths, and creating accessible charging stations with the goal of not only reducing the risk of damage to both the robots and the landscape but also promoting energy efficiency and minimized resource consumption.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the current challenges and opportunities presented by Robotic Mowers
2. Understand the considerations necessary when designing landscapes to be Robotic mower friendly
3. Understand the benefits of robotic mowers.
