Seminar Description:
Join Suzie Wiest, in Marketing and Product Development for Everde Growers and meet the latest and greatest new plants for our Western landscapes. Through field tests and market trials, Suzie is able to confidently introduce the top performers and share which characteristics set them apart from the rest. You will learn how to use these plants in design to create both beautiful and sustainable landscapes.
And finally, there will be an interactive discussion to expand your “plant palette” for a variety of landscape situations, such as deep shade, bioswales, or a sunny slope. This will be a fun and informative time spent with fellow plant people.

Suzie Wiest
Suzie Wiest is a horticulturist who began her career in propagation while a student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, later moving into growing and nursery management at Miramar Wholesale Nurseries. In 2013, she joined the marketing team of Village Nurseries, now Everde Growers. A natural transition, her focus has expanded to Product Development while she continues her role in the marketing of New Products. This brings her even closer to the plants where she marvels at the cool new genetics, field tests them, and introduces proven performers to the landscape architect and design community. Serving as their plant resource, she enjoys being involved with the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
