Adam Carr

After spending 8 years in the Army and National Guard as a Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Warfare Specialist, as well as Military Police Officer, Adam Carr decided to shift his focus to his love of landscaping and horticulture. Adam started working for Brickman, one of the largest landscape companies in the US, while also in college. He worked full time as a crew leader while tackling full time school, and he eventually graduated with a degree in Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture. This enabled him to appreciate every position in the industry and allowed him to have realistic expectations around quality and execution.
Over his nearly 10 years with Brickman he fulfilled nearly every role possible ranging from Crew Lead, Project Director, Account Manager, Sales, and Branch Manager, eventually earning his CLT Certification as well.
Adam accepted a position with Irvine Company in 2012, and has been managing all Office projects in San Diego since that time. He was recently promoted to the Senior Manager, Landscape Operations for Irvine Company. Adam has been instrumental in Irvine Company winning many CLCA awards, as well as an International Lighting award. Helping build and maintain world class landscape projects has been something Adam has a great deal of passion for.
In his spare time he loves managing his non-profit, veteran outreach, off-road racing team, which helps combat PTSD and other service related issues for our nation's veterans. Traveling to Baja with his wife Stephanie is also a great joy and passion for Adam.
