Bill Arman / Sal Hernandez / Ian Campbell
Bill Arman is an experienced Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the landscape consulting industry. Skilled in Operations, Collaboration Solutions, Sales, Profit Maximization, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) People Recruiting and Retention . Strong professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) focused in Ornamental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. If you ask Bill what it’s really all about, he’ll tell you, the people and the plants. Bill’s a horticulturist, after all. He got his degree at one of the best horticultural programs on the west coast—Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. He sometimes teaches there, too.
Sal Hernandez is a California native. As a kid, he would mow lawns with his dad in Huntington Beach, CA. During his high school years, he lived in Anaheim and attended Western High School.
Upon graduating high school, he joined the US Navy. While on active duty, he served aboard the USS Curts (FFG-38), PHIBCB-ONE, and EODMU-ONE. His most memorable deployment was to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2009. While on active duty, Sal received multiple medals, was an Honor Graduate during his skills training, and developed his leadership skills that ultimately promoted him to Petty Officer 2nd class. Medals include Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Afghanistan Campaign Medal.
Upon completion of his service, Sal earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Phoenix. Sal also holds an associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology from Coastline Community College. He holds a General B, C-27 license, and CCPI certification. His education, licenses, and certifications set him for success while at the helm of Pacific Breeze Landscape.
Sal’s passion for the landscape and construction industry was re-born in 2016 on which he founded Pacific Breeze Landscape, now Pacific Breeze Building Solutions, a company that focused on maintenance, but grew into a design and build. While onboard of Pacific Breeze, Sal spearheaded the growth of the company by leading teams that generated revenues of up to 2.2M annually, created sales and lead funnel processes that led to projects between 150-300k, and optimized bidding processes that reduced costs.
Sal is also currently serving as VP of membership for the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA). Within CLCA he took the lead in developing the modern marketing strategy that created digital brand awareness for CLCA.
Ian Campbell is a Registered Consulting Arborist(RCA) and a Board Certified Master Arborist(BCMA). Ian also holds a California QAL, is TRAQ Certified and is a CTSP with Tree Care Industry Association(TCIA). Ian has been a member of the green industry over the last 22 years. Over the years he has progressed from a laborer/grounds person, climber, foreman, PHC technician, sales arborist and manager of various tree care organizations and currently is co-owner/operator of a tree care, PHC and landscape company in San Diego, CA. Ian has worked the majority of his career with international organizations Bartlett Tree Experts(2007-2014) and Davey Tree Experts (2015-2022) where he practiced arboriculture throughout the US. Ian was also one of the founding arborist(2015-2016) for the Costa Rica chapter of ISA (International Society of Arboriculture). Ian is supported by his partner in business and life Sandra Peralta (Majority owner of IC Trees) and their (2) boys Sebastian and Liam.
