Webinar Description:
While the successful preservation of trees is a noble endeavor, it takes more time, money and effort than most people realize. The reasons for, techniques used and outcomes resulting from these efforts can vary from project to project. Some trees are not necessarily worthy of the expense and efforts of true preservation. In this program, Mr. Gibney will demonstrate the pre-project skills needed to determine whether tree preservation is safe, practical and can be accomplished. He will show through case studies, different techniques for tree preservation, new technology in preservation and alternatives to traditional attitudes about the preservation of trees.
Learning Objectives:
1. Attendees will learn how to establish a dialogue to determine reasons for tree preservation.
2. Basic techniques for assessing safety, health, and worthiness of trees to be preserved will be discussed.
3. Alternatives to tree preservation will be shown.
