Webinar Description:
Admitting the problem is half the battle and the first biggest step. We are in a drought. We have been in a drought for over 10 years. Our landscapes and tree canopies are stressed and changing, and we must change with it. This webinar will review basic plant health needs as it relates to water and nutrients. It will also review what pests and disease to look for in drought stressed trees. We will then look at drought solutions and IPM programs for pests and diseases.

Learning Objectives:
Know what water requirements plants need. Know how to mitigate drought. Know how to treat pests and diseases that attack drought stresses plant material.

Dawn Fluharty

Dawn Fluharty currently serves as Landscape Sales Specialist for Target-Specialty Products.
Dawn has enjoyed 20 plus years in the green industry including; sales and sales management, horticultural education and training and operations management.
She has her PCA (Pest Control Advisor) license in California and is a member of CAPCA (California Association of Pest Control Advisors) and the Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture. She also holds her QAL (Qualified Applicators License) and continuously supports PAPA (Pesticide Applicators Professional Association) as a board member. Dawn is also a board member for Street Tree Seminars and has recently been appointed to the Bay Area Urban Forest Ecosystems Council Board.
She has a degree in Environmental Horticultural Sciences with a minor in Soil Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
