Webinar Description:
Attendees would learn the importance of conducting the first two of three soil tests that they should do prior to bidding on a landscape job or during the initial design phase of a project.

These two are: Perc Testing and Soil Texture Testing. These two are very similar in that they will help the contractor or designer know what to expect long term as to the drainage potential or water movement through the soil profile to better choose the right plants or prepare the site for healthy growth of the plants being installed.

Learning Objectives:
1. Process and purpose of a Perc Test on a landscape site
2. How to determine soil texture
3. How to use these tests in pre-bid decision making
