Within a playspace sometimes a child, caregiver or parent needs a comfortable place to step away and still be part of the playspace. Children with autism or other sensory processing differences can be especially overwhelmed by noise, movement or simply need a space to express themselves freely. The Serenity Spot can offer that space. A fort-like environment with games, a spinning seat, a rubber kick pad and a variety of activities that can be calming and allow the expression of stimming behaviors, this is a place where everyone is welcome to be themselves.
