Advocacy Day 2023
Advocacy protects licensure! If licensure qualifies you for project work, read on!
St Louis & Prairie Gateway members advocated on your behalf at the State Capitol on February 28, 2023. Their purpose was to have very in-depth conversations with legislators about bills that would lower the standard of practice in Missouri. Currently, one bill would allow someone licensed in another state to be licensed in MO without meeting MO standards for testing and work experience. Another bill would allow anyone with 1000 work hours annually to be exempt from fulfilling CEU requirements. This was a particularly critical visit with many incumbent and freshman representatives being totally unaware of these bills or their impact.
