As a young adult I found myself in other lines of work, but always retained a sense of appreciation for landscapes, both developed and natural.

Moore has written for, and had gardens featured in, Fine Gardening magazine, as well as Fremontia, the botanical journal of the California Native Plant Society (See pages 6-11).
