Seminar Description:
Applying pesticides is a big responsibility, as not only can a pesticide be hazardous to the environment but it can be dangerous to the surrounding application site. This seminar is designed for anyone who is looking to excel and become more knowledgeable in their pest control profession. Attendees will learn the legal platforms to apply pesticides. They will hear a general introduction followed by a few court cases that are important to know for anyone working with pesticides. In order to understand what they need to be safe and legal, they will brief actual court cases which become pesticide law.

1. The ability to enter into a contract to apply restricted use pesticides.
2. Soliciting for pest control contracts.
3. Different types of licenses/certificates.
4. Competency which distinguishes commercial applicators from private applicators.

Geoff Gretchenson is a licensed specialist in pesticide laws and regulations. He is, and has been for many years, engaged in detection of  serious exotic agricultural pests.
