Seminar Description:
Planet Earth has been under assault for the past century, resulting in global climate change and unprecedented pollution. A younger generation of clientele is more internet savvy and willing to pay premium prices for pesticide-free and herbicide free landscapes. Planet Earth is loosing biodiversity at an abnormal rate, which if left unchecked, will result in massive starvation for the natural food chain. We can change this through responsibly landscaping by partnering with nature to stack functions in the landscape. This type of landscaping is called “permaculture” and it aims to feed the biodiversity of our planet, which in turn, will feed the soil food web. Feed the pollinators, and they feed us!
Learning Objectives:
1. What is Permaculture and its 3 foundations?
2. What is a backyard Food Forest?
3. How can pollinators save planet Earth?
