PA DE ASLA Recommends Tree Care Training Session

Tree Pittsburgh is an environmental non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the city's vitality by restoring and protecting the urban forest through tree maintenance, planting, education and advocacy.


ASLA Pennsylvania and Delaware Chapter is encouraging its members, as well as other Pennsylvania-based landscape professionals, to register for an all-day Tree Tenders training session that will be held on December 1 in Pittsburgh, Pa. The session will be hosted by Tree Pittsburgh.

The course will address urban forestry practices, tree biology and health, basic tree identification and proper pruning and maintenance techniques. There will also be a section that includes tips on effective ways to lead communities in organizing tree-planting events.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last until 4:30 p.m. The session costs $40, which covers registration, materials, lunch and instruction.
