Soil based Seminars
Kelly Kellogg-Johnson, a third-generation leader of Kellogg Garden Products, who was recently awarded with the Grades of Green 2021 Mother Earth award for global impact, will be presenting a seminar on high performance, healthy landscapes. Entitled, Soil for the Best Performing and Healthiest Landscape, the seminar will teach how you can decrease water waste, keep plant health high, and a safer way to go about landscape irrigation. It will take place on November 17th at 12PM.

Interested in planting trees? Wei Zhang will be presenting a seminar at 8AM on November 17th titled Soil Moisture for newly planted trees. In his seminar, Zhang will outline many of the most important factors that come into play when planting trees and how to make sure that they will grow up healthy.

For an in-depth look into what makes good soil health make sure to visit Gisele Schoniger and watch her seminar called Soil and Organic Materials. On November 17th at 10AM, Schoniger will share knowledge regarding soil health making use of her 35 years in the garden industry. This seminar is sure to teach you something you didn't know about soil.

Dan Noble, the Executive Director of the Association of Compost Producers, is also presenting a seminar this year at the Landscape Expo called Healthy soil with compost to conserve water and plant heartiness. In his seminar, Noble will go into detail on how using compost in landscaping will benefit cities, how compost is an essential tool, and the best management practices for using compost and mulch in various irrigation situations.
